2019 Webby Award nominee, News & Politics: “Roberts County,” the documentary that Meghan helped report, write and produce was nominated for a Webby. It detailed the first year of the Trump administration in the country’s most-Pro-Trump county.
2018 Webby Award nominee, News & Politics: The documentary that Meghan and her colleagues worked on detailing the lives of coal miners in “The Basin” was nominated as one of the web’s best News & Politics videos.
2017 Digital Innovation Award: Deadline Club: Meghan was part of the team that won the prestigious award for our creative storytelling on the project called “Madaya Mom,” detailing a family’s struggles in war-torn Syria.
2017 Sigma Delta Chi Award, Digital Media Presentation: Society for Professional Journalists: Meghan was part of a team that created an eBook to tell how a mother and her family survived trapped in the Syrian town of Madaya. View the “Madaya Mom” here.
2017 Gracie Award honoree for Interactive Media: Alliance for Women in Media Foundation: “Madaya Mom” was honored by a top women’s media organization.
2016 Digital Media Finalist: National Association of Black Journalists: A feature that Meghan wrote about a community’s ability to rebuild after Hurricane Katrina was nominated. That feature, “Turkey Creek: Surviving the Storm,” can be viewed here.
Edward R. Murrow Award: The Radio and Television Digital News Association: In both 2015 and 2016, Meghan was part of the team at ABC News that won the Edward R. Murrow Award for Overall Excellence in Television and Radio.
Alfred I. DuPont-Columbia University Award: For Excellence in Broadcast Journalism: Meghan was part of the team that won the DuPont-Columbia Award for “Bruce Jenner: The Interview.”
